Adam Brack knew early in life he wanted to teach. He began his professional teaching career in the golf business at the ripe age of 16 at the Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas. His passion and natural instincts for the game, along with a hardy work ethic, drove Adam to pass the PGA players’ ability test by the age 19. Adam taught his first professional golf lesson at the age of 20.

Relocating to Panama City Beach, Florida in 1999 to work as golf professional at Marriott’s Bay Point Resort, Adam began sowing the seeds to become an important addition to the professional golf community. His calm, easy to understand demeanor captured the hearts and games of a large percentage of the membership and guests of the resort.

In the spring of 2002 Adam accepted a position as Director of Instruction at the Martin Green Golf Academy located at the Hombre Golf Club.

The Academy at Hombre is one of Golf Magazine’s Top 25 schools. The academy has added an all weather learning center with two hitting bays, video analysis center, classroom, and offices.

Understanding that each student’s personal tempo, personality and athletic ability influences the golf swing, Adam approaches his lessons by quickly recognizing how best to use the strengths of each student. Creating a fundamentally sound golf swing that is as simple as possible is the key to good consistent golf. If the student is bombarded with “swing thoughts” each time he or she takes a swing, the whole process becomes overwhelming and leaves them with a swing motion that will never improve.

Adam has discovered through years of learning, teaching and competitive play, that the golf swing is a pushing force as opposed to a pulling force. Push is an outward force; this is what creates a structured swing. Pull is an inward force and creates collapse, which is also referred to as breakdown. The hands control the push of the club, not the shoulders, hips, upper body etc. The body is the stable base while the hands swing the club. The solution is to become more aware of your club/club head and improve your use of it.
